Flexible Rental Terms
Rental costs are based on the length of commitment — the longer you rent a yard ramp, the lower your weekly rate.
- For rentals up to 13 weeks: invoiced upfront, including delivery and collection
- For rentals over 13 weeks: initial invoice covers 13 weeks and delivery; future charges billed quarterly
And if your needs change? No problem. Ramps can be returned early or extended beyond the original agreement with minimal fuss.
Delivery and Offload
Thorworld typically works with a trusted third-party haulier, but you’re welcome to organise your own transport. Ramps arrive on step-frame low-loader trailers and are offloaded using a forklift (minimum 2,000kg capacity with towing pin).
No lifting is required – the yard ramp hire is towed straight off using its built-in wheels, guided by the delivery driver acting as the appointed person throughout.
When the Ramp Hire Ends
When you’re ready to off-hire, simply let Thorworld know. They’ll handle return logistics and issue any refunds due based on overpaid rental (minus early termination or notice-period adjustments, and any collection costs owed). Ramps are collected using the same style of trailer and can be winched on for convenience.
