• Thorworld offers four types of Heavy Duty Dock Bumpers including three types of moulded bumpers and a hollow "D" section bumper. The Bumpers are shown in fig. 1 (default image).

• Note:
• Bumpers with the suffix "-HF" are high fibre versions of the standard product; for a longer lifespan.
• Bumpers with the suffix "-S" featured squared sides, rather than the typical taper.
  

Type 1: L and T Shaped Dock Bumpers

• These bumpers, available as either T or L shape, provide protection to 457mm lengths, in both horizontal and vertical planes.
• Ideal when a wide range of protection is required - See fig.2.
• Application to the right shows a Pad Seal with L Shaped Bumpers, the bumpers prevent damage and over compression of the seals.
• Attached by three 16mm diameter fixings.

Type 2: Rectangular Bumpers

• Available in four sizes and in thickness of 100mm or 150mm.
• Standard units have angled edges for improved appearance.
• Available with square edges to allow bumpers to be made up into long runs without gaps, see application in fig.3.
• Two holes per bumper, fixings 16mm diameter.
• Fig.4 shows an application of a rectangular bumper protecting a dock leveller.

Type 3: Rectangular Narrow Width Bumpers

• This bumper can be used in many situations, but they are particularly suited to mini dock levellers, fig.5.
• Available in five lengths.
• Fitted by 12mm diameter fixings, fixing holes are incorporated.

Type 4: Extruded D Section Bumper

• Fig.6 shows the application of a D section bumper fitted to a dock edge.
• Can be provided in lengths up to 3,000mm.
• Can be assembled end to end for long runs.
• Can be provided with mitred ends for corners if required.
• Holes can be incorporated for 12mm fixings or bumpers can be fitted with an optional fixing strip through the centre if required.
