• Periods of hire range from one month to five years, and if the ramps are purchased whilst on hire then a standard allowance is offered against the purchase price of the ramp.

• Trailer Safety Supports are designed to provide additional support under the fifth wheel of a parked container, without a cab, during loading and unloading.
• The screw mechanism allows the jack to be adjusted, with a height range of 1070-1350mm.
  
• The maximum supporting load required varies greatly depending on trailer type, weight distribution and the nature of the load, however typically requirements are in the region of 20 Tonnes.
• Two capacities available:
• 26,500Kg for most 'normal' applications
• 36,500Kg for 'abnormal' applications i.e. Military Equipment.
• A safety sign is also available as an additional safety measure, to display when the jack is in use. The sign comes pre-fitted with a clip to allow attachement to a standard air hose fitting.
  

Yardramp Wheel Chock (TWC-8)

• Small rubber moulded Yardramp Wheel Chocks.
• Includes rope handle for carrying/positioning.
• A low-cost and efficient way of preventing the movement of Yardramps, when both stored and in use.

Vehicle Wheel Chock (TWC-1)

• Heavy-duty rubber Moulded Vehicle Wheel Chock.
• Includes rope handle for carrying/positioning.
  
• Thorworld’s original rubber wheel chock, still considered the best, in terms of cost and performance, ensures the secure parking of vehicles.
• Anti-theft chain is available if required.

• For fast, efficient loading and unloading of trucks/trailers by fork truck, particularly when no loading bay is available.
• Thorworld  Yardramps are renowned for their quality and strength, and for the availability of specialist engineers, who aim to reach you within 48 hours in the case of a breakdown.
• All models include: steel superstructure, hand operated hydraulic pump to raise ramp to required height, built-in towing mechanism for moving by fork truck. Solid tyres, 1.8m of safety chain on each side for securing ramp to truck or dock and serrated open grid deck for positive traction in all weather conditions.
• Available to rent, for short, medium or long-term hire, and to buy on a sale or return basis. If the ramp is on hire and then ultimately purchased, an allowance will be given against the rentals already paid. View the RENTARAMP section of our site which details the ramps available for hire.

• Thorworld's maintenance service is available for all ramps.
• All our ramps have been independently tested, meet the latest European standards and directives and carry the CE mark.
• An electrical pump is available and can be incorporated if required.
• We strongly recommend the use of Yardramp Wheel Chocks (TWC-8) when the ramp is stored and in use,  Vehicle Wheel Chocks (TWC-1) to secure the trailer, and a Trailer Safety Support (TWCJ-4253) to support the trailer when being loaded and unloaded without a lorry cab.

Deluxe Ramp - Type 6 & 7

• These ramps are available in 10 Tonne capacity and are suitable for medium duty usage typically continual use in a one-shift operation. If heavier usage will be encountered then we would advise that the Super Deluxe ramps should be used.
• Type 7 - These ramps are available in 7000Kg and 10000Kg capacity and have an integrated entry plate. This allows the use of a push type towing mechanism, as detailed in Feature Image 5 Below. This towing mechanism allows the ramp to be pushed/pulled around using any standard forktruck tine.
• Type 6 - The Deluxe Type 6 is our most popular mobile yard ramp and comes with high side rails as standard, as well as fold down entry ramps, for a fixed approach angle, and integrated towing bracket for use with most standard forktrucks.

Super Deluxe Ramps / The Ramp - Type 6

• These ramps are available in both 12 Tonne and 15 Tonne capacities and are called The Recycling Ramps that can stand heavy workloads performing in a three-shift operation, in the most rigorous of environments eg. The recycling industry.

Common Features

• All ramps include:
  • A full width, 300mm deep exit lip - See Features Image 1 below.
  • Hydraulic operation through the use of a double acting manual handpump (electrical pump upgrade available for most ramps) - See Features Image 2 below.
  • Serrated open grid deck for positive traction in all weather conditions - See Features Images 3 below.

• Towing/Manoeuvring the ramps is via the model-specific tow bar:
  • Types 5, 6, 8 & 10 ramps are fitted with a tow bar which attaches to external towing pockets on most forktrucks - See Features image 4 below.
  • Types 7 & 9 are fitted with a tow hitch which accepts most standard fork truck forks - See Features Image 5 below.
