Overview
Trailer Safety Support (also known as trailer prop stands) are designed to provide support under the fifth wheel of a parked trailer. When the cab unit is removed, weight distribution in the trailer can cause the trailer to tip forwards. This is particularly likely during loading and unloading when weight for goods and fork truck can be at the far end of the trailer.
Our trailer support can also prevent trailers tipping due to failure of landing legs.
Simply wheel the trailer safety support under the fifth wheel plate, then use the ratchet to adjust the height.

A safety sign is also available as an additional safety measure, to display when the trailer safety support is in use. The sign comes pre-fitted with a clip to allow attachment to a standard air hose fitting.
