Wheel Chocks Overview
Wheel chocks are a low cost, effective way of preventing the unexpected movement of vehicles whilst either parked or being loaded and unloaded.
Thorworld offers a range of vehicle wheel chocks suitable for use with HGV’s:
- TWC-1: Rubber wheel chock
- TWC-3: Cast aluminium wheel chock
- TWC-5: Cast aluminium wheel chock with switch – See further details.
- TWC-10: Steel wheel chock
- TWC-12: Yellow plastic wheel chock
Our TWC-8 is a rubber wheel chock, specifically designed to work with our range of mobile loading ramps, but is also suited to smaller wheeled vehicles.
We also offer two types of aircraft wheel chocks (TWC-6 & TWC-9).
All rubber wheel chocks have a safety grip face for maximum adhesion between vehicle wheel and chock.
Rubber wheel chocks have built-in lifting handles.
An optional anti-theft retaining chain (TWC-2) is available for TWC-1, TWC-3 and TWC-10.
Our TWC-3 & TWC-10 chocks can also be supplied with Handles for improved manual handling, and visibility – See further details.
