Sleeping Policemen

Our Sleeping Policemen are highly effective in reducing vehicle speed, they are supplied in pairs, one black and one yellow to indicate potential hazards.

Their height and profile makes them particularly effective at slowing HGVs.

• Max recommended speed 5mph. (see our Speed Stoppers for 10mph option)
• End caps are also available (in yellow only).
• Each sleeping policemen section is 250mm long, giving a 500mm length per pair.
• Moulded from high impact durable moulded rubber with surface channels for excellent grip and drainage.

Both the black and yellow colours are an integral part of the moulding, the colour will not wear off as is common with some painted/coated versions.

The underside of the ramp is moulded to accept a locating pole for ease of alignment and additional stability if required.

Includes pre-moulded holes for fixing, fixings for concrete are sold in sets to install two sections. Fixings for tarmac are also available – contact us for information.

The modular assembly gives great versatility, the units can be used permanently or temporarily for on-site hazards after which they can be moved to a new location.

We recommend the “Caution Speed Ramp” sign in conjunction with Sleeping Policeman to warn and slow drivers.
