Overview
A client required a hinged bridgeplate ramp combination to give access to varying heights of vehicle.
The ramp is used on ship decks so needed to be lightweight, easy to manoeuvre and supplied in sections for storage. The ramp is made from high tensile aluminum treadplate and is supplied with stainless steel lifting eyes to give high strength and corrosion resistance.
Six ramps were supplied for use on different ships.
The specifications are as follows;
- Ramp Width = 1300mm
- Overall Length = 3000mm (in 3 Sections)
- Bridgeplate Length = 750mm
- Capacity = 3000Kg
- Operating Range = 185-250mm @ 4 Degrees.
The bridgeplate is shown locked in the vertical position for storage.
The largest section is supplied with both pallet truck pockets and lifting eyes.
